Im new here and a quick browse through this section shows a few different threads regarding youtube.

I've been following a bloke in the US called joe robinet and I like his vids but they arent oz.

So I thought I'd start a thread where anyone can place a link to their or someone else's youtube channels for us all to enjoy and learn from.

Post away and I hope to get to know you all better

I do vids for my products as well as product reviews trip reports. Both channels are in my signature below this post. Quality is debatable! :linguino:

I know Joe, but I'm not aware of anything quite like that for Aus.

Quite a few people here have their own channels (as mentioned above). A great benefit is that you can talk to them and get some local answers.

... of course it depends what part of Aus you are interested in; quite a difference between trips in the High Country vs Central Desert vs Kakadu etc !

Yeah get the difference between locations.
My main goal with this thread was to centralize links for relevant youtube channels regardless of topics or locations.

I have the same problem solidute. I watch a lot of Dave Canterbury because I like how he focuses more on skill and mindset - a lot of bushcraft videos are really just showing off their expensive new toys. However, its annoying to realise how much wealth of knowledge Dave shares is only applicable to the Eastern United States. Honestly, I don't think there is a single Australian youtuber who is putting out the same quality or style of videos as somebody like Dave Canterbury.

However, my favourite Aussie Im watching at the moment is a young bloke who I believe is from Queensland, his style of presenting is unique and he shows just how much you can do in the Aussie bush with literally nothing but your bare-hands. His channel is called Primitive Technology and he has a blog as well. The only issue with PT is that he only has few videos so far, but they are gold.

There's some interesting channels listed here that I didn't know about. Thanks for the share guys. I don't know how to post Links from me phone, but there's a channel dude that seems to have been around for a while. The channel is called phrayzar. He is a pommy guy, and it took me a while to realise that he is in oz somewhere but it has quite a bit of content. not sure if it really qualifies as Australian bushcraft, but a good view anyway.

Phrayzar will be pleased and perhaps a little embarrassed to read that. He's a member of this forum. :D

He's just posted up a new one on how to make a turbo charged fan forced forge.
The guys an absolute guru. Just wish he was turning out more.
He would be a fascinating bloke to meet. I heard that he is doing some sort of uni degree and that is why he is doing this stuff.
Does anyone know who he is?
Cheers
