Scientific name: Epthianura albifrons

Common Name: White-fronted Chat

Order: Passeriformes

Family: Meliphagidae

Other Names: N/A

Distribution: Southern Australia including Tasmania.

Habitat: Salt marsh, swampy farmland, roadside verges, coastal heath, beaches, inland lakes.

Field Notes: Male; white face, chest and belly, black chest band which wraps around back of the head. Female; similar markings but are grey-brown in colour, narrower chest band.
