We need to join us on Mt Mambup and not go off with the bushwalking fraternity:;):
Given it's my group, and I planning on leading Sunday's walk, the punters expect that I will turn up.
Having said that, I've just found out the area we were going to walk was subject to a Prescribed Burn today.
Which means I now have to consider my options. :triste:

Thrud, Doc and myself are doing an overnighter next Saturday night at Mt Mambup.

Who is interested in joining us?
Dumb questions* ...

1) how far is the walk in and - one presumes - out?
2) is there any flat ground for us tent dwellers?
3) what time and and where are y'all meeting?
4) is it true it's Uneekwahn's turn to buy lunch at Chapel Farm?

My attendance is most likely predicated by the answer to 4.

* I may have more dumb questions later.

1 - 3km(ish)? Steep terrain.
2 - lots.
3 - at this stage best we can say is early afternoon and at the entrance to Walyunga. If you can let me know how many cars are coming so I can let the ranger know how many will be parking in the secure area it would be appreciated.
4 - newbies pay for us seasoned mad men of Mt Mambup.

:)

1. easy
2. I only need a little bit
3. works for me
4. I've walked it twice this year, but not strung myself between two trees in a thunderstorm. Does that count anyway?
