Scientific name: Sericornis humilis

Common Name: Tasmanian Scrubwren

Order: Passeriformes

Family: Pardalotidae

Other Names: N/A

Distribution: Endemic to Tasmania and it's surrounding islands.

Habitat: Areas with dense vegetation, wet forest.

Field Notes: Mostly found on or close to the ground. Short straight bill, short legs, short tail, dark olive-brown above, russet back, rump and upper-tail, dull cream below with greyish streaking.
