the only thing with the Smith's is the price.

The ability to collect the tinder in the box is fantastic.

I have been having a great time with it and it works great for fatwood. I have made a heap of shavings now and have found the slightest spark from a ferro rod lights it up.

Great idea but I agree about the price. I found a mini grater on eBay for $11.50 with free postage and put togther a budget kit. Works OK.

that's great Taplow.

I have been talking to my youtube mates from America and we get really screwed on the price of the Smith's, they get them for $12.54 delivered, I paid $35 delivered. There is no way they can justify the price difference. The Smith's is fantastic but not worth $35.
