Subject: Swamp wallabies

Location: Outer South East Melbourne Nature reserve.

Field Notes/Method:
Walking off track away from areas frequented by people, greatly increases the chances of spotting swamp wallabies.
Earlier in the day is a good time to spot them, when they are eating, before they retreat to the undercover.
Look for tail drag marks between their footprints which indicates that they were not hopping as the moved... perhaps feeding,
