Nup... Just had 5 attempts and failed the lot. Followed the guide to the letter and changed the mix consistency and the thickness in the pan just a little each time. Every time the middle was doughy and the outside charred to the craphouse...

What am I doing wrong? I'll have to have another go tomorrow.

The pan is too hot. Let it heat up, then turn the temp down low and add the mix.
Varying the consistency won't make much difference. The secret is in cooking it slowly and evenly !

I think my stove has issues then... it was as low as it goes and on the smallest burner. I'll try on my butane camping stove tomorrow as that should be a bit cooler.

I greased the pan just a little since i didnt have a very good non stick pan may or may not help, dont give up i rekon youve almost got it
