Invertebrate redback spider

so i have one in my backyard, looks exactly like on google images, just two meters from where i usually hang. should i do something?

Take a photo and post it up! Latrodectus hasseltii

Or you can use spray freeze or a lighter and spray canola..... Don't get too close though.

Well you could relocate it (very carefully) or kill it.
If you have one you probably have more that you havt seen.
Take a pic and enter it into the data base.

Nah, they are pretty cranky and a lot faster than you think. They aren't rare, so whacK it and then get rid of the egg sac(s) if there is one. Then look under any places where there is a gap of less than 18 inches between a surface and the ground, look for tangled webs. The bites, although not often fatal, produce muscle spasms that are extremely painful.

yeah, i am thinking to make an exception to my no kill policy. only slugs and now redbacks are doomed around me. will try to make a photo manana. i need a good stick :)
