i recently got some rattan for weaving.. it is very interesting material. much tougher than bamboo or other cane or reeds.. but also more flexible.

really excellent material.

purchased it down at rattans-r-us in the rattan district.. i think its.. on the corner of rattan street and rattan avenue.. its next to that big rattan shop.. i think its called rattan emporium .. ah anyway great place to shop for rattan..
hank scorpio reference
now seriously
in australia nobody is selling rattan..
i have had some and sold it in the past..
its just a hassle to import and if you send in the mail its bulky and not worth much..
maybe id sell a big roll maybe 15$ or 20 $ going to be about 100 2 meter strands in it.. each about 4mm or 5mm wide
my source. philipines or malaysia
quality is good..
