Peruvian Pepper tree

Hi, just wondering if anyone uses the berries from the Peruvian pepper tree (Schinus molle)? I’ve read a bit about them and they are abundant in the parks around me.

I tend to use fresh and use a morter and pestle.
If you dry them, you can use a grinder, but they are quite "oily" compared to "real" pepper.

I think some people mix real pepper corns with the pink peppers and add them to a normal pepper mill .... I guess that dilutes any oileyness
