Orange NSW Medieval Faire

For those whom are into things to do with medieval times this weekend fair will take place at Orange 19/20th March.

Archery, Jousting and a host of other activities. There may even be blacksmiths selling steel strikers for your fint and steel firelighting kits.

Think it would be worth a look and let's hope covid does not get in the way.

Orange to turn back time for medieval faire

NSW’s Central Tablelands will be the backdrop for knight and viking battles when thousands of history buffs descend on Orange for its inaugural Medieval Faire next year.

Yes it could be interesting and think families with children will find plenty of things to see. Guess this fair is a follow on from the popular Ironfest which was staged at Lithgow for some years running.

Unfortunately covid crashed the event for a couple of years running and then the large bushfires of 2019 which badly affected Lighgow did not help.

Don't think Ironfest is running this year.

I was thinking that if the world returns (closer) to normal over the next 2 months it would be worth making a road trip to check it out.
