I've had this one in a half finished state for a while now, but I finally got round to completing it recently...

The handle is reindeer antler and leather and a strip of stainless steel.

Hope you like! I think it's one of my favorites so far.

The blade is by a Swedish company called Karesuando.... This blade is Sandvik 12C27 Cold rolled stainless steel. The Sandvik stainless is pretty much standard across the nordic knives such as Mora etc...

Looks like a nicey made blades...I like the reindeer antler mate, find that local ozzie antler is to soft for knife making.

Simple, elegant, & stunningly beautiful graybear.
Congratulations on creating such a wonderful piece.
Often embelishment can overshadow the beauty of simplicity but in this case the graceful simplicity of it is accentuated by the stunning antler, & the simple yet tasteful leather/stainless spacers. Very well done mate, very well done.
Love it.

That's absolutely gorgeous graybear! I've really got to pull my finger out and finish my knife.

Graybear,

Definitely one of your best. Good blade too just quietly. Definitely one to be proud of.

As for you Blake.... yes you should! ;) It needs another day down in the shed and it will come up a treat.
