No Randall I bought these. I would like to make some more though & do it myself.
These arrow heads are Bodkins for piersing armour They can be used for hunting though.

The leather on the limbs will affect the performance of the bow with a slower arrow speed, meaning less penetration. If hunting game you should use a razor sharp broadhead so the animal will bleed well and expire quickly. Good luck with your hunting.

A) The wrap will slow down the bow ( arrow speed )
B) For small game ( Rabbits ) the arrows are fine .
C) Yeah , for hunting - Broadheads ! ( Be a legal requirement also for certain game animals )

Thanks LeLoup. I've not seen a leather wrap like that on a bow, and I had similar thoughts to Detecta and Old. I guess the proof is in the pudding - I'd love to see it strung and shot. How does it feel? Maybe no handshock at all?

Been there , done that !
I started archery in the early 80's , dont ask me how many bows I have owned ? ( I dont remember = A lot )
Wrapping the libs costs performance , more than tape and more than socks ( Camo Limb Socks ) ..
If you must , some light spray paint to take the shine off the bow .
I still have a very old now Chronograph ... ( Working ) Which I used to check arrow speed .

Everything can effect speed .. Bow string , arrows . fletching , and especially what you put on the limbs ..
Even those string silencers can cost you speed .

I agree, but for me it's a compromise. As greater arrow speed = flatter trajectory for longer, which helps accuracy, it's an important consideration. However, my own accuracy is probably more affected by how often I shoot my bow, which is dependent on how much I enjoy it. That means wooden arrows, feather fletching and beaver balls.

Since I made this video below Taplow I have improved markedly, took me a while to get used to it, but now practice is going well.
No handshock what so ever. Lots of fun. I have a good target set up, & am now using a wild boar target with the heart area marked, plus a small hanging sack full of straw.

Paper Plate ....
There is this general theory .. At what ever range you can consistently hit a 10inch paper plate , is your hunting range !
It's a USA theory , but generally I would agree with it . ( That's for bigger game )
Small game .... Can be challenging !
Especially Rabbits here in Oz , ..............
