Due to the demographic of visitors to Bushcraft Oz I have to add the NPW act

NOTE:

All possums are protected under the Australian, National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974 (NPW Act)
and it is illegal to kill or catch and release them without a licence.
National Parks and Wildlife Act.

No probs mozzie,

Yes as since being imported to New Zealand from Australia they are now a eco pest over there in case anyone doesn’t
know.

The imported animals keep them in hunting though , goats , pigs , deer , possums , they even have some wallabies.

Yes Kindliing, can testify to wallabies. We were hiking around Lake Ōkareka, sat for lunch and this guy emerged from the bush with a wallabie, we were in shock, so was he when he saw us, local trapper we found out. On research we found they are Dama / Tammar wallabies, been around for years from an old zoo that was closed up but they let all the animals go, bloody sad, but so out of place With Roos in NZ
