Common Name: Northern Banjo Frog

Other names: Northern Bullfrog, Northern Pobblebonk, Red-thighed Pobblebonk, Scarlet-sided Marsh Frog, Scarlet-sided Pobblebonk

Class: Amphibia

Order: Anura

Family: Myobatrachidae

Genus: Limnodynastes

Species: L. terraereginae

Distribution: Coastal Queensland and inland to the Great Divide, in NSW only inland.

Habitat: Variety of habitats in the distribution, tropical to temperate, wet coastal to dry scerophyll forest.

Field notes: Large burrowing frog (60-90mm) No toe pads, horizontal pupil. No webbing. White or creamy belly. Red patterns on thigh visible.
