Yes , I will be testing the Jiffy firelighters .. Well a small test .
Weather is some what McNasty !
So , I did not feel like mucking about outside overly long as the wind bites ( cold ) .

I wanted to see if the ferro rod could light one up = Fail
I cheated by pulling out a ball of twisted sisal that has been processed into fire starter ( ferro friendly ) .
It was so cold that it was affecting my hands .. ( A little to cold for me )

Anyways , I only used a small piece .
Which burned for a good 4 minutes .
Flame height was good , but a little smoky .
As for the 24 cubes ? ill call BS on that one .
It's one big block that has been marked of , into 24 cubes .
If you break it by hand ? Good luck breaking off a cube .
The wrapper is , weak / fragile .. So be prepared to re wrap the block .. ( does it degrade / absorb moisture ? )
More testing required , but that weather is bad for that at the moment .

…but how about the smell? Grew up using the stinky old ones in our wood stove, hands would smell for the rest of the day!

Smell - Hmmm , besides the smoke ! Nothing obnoxious .
