Why do you need fire starter ?
Because of adverse conditions / circumstances ?

Moisture or H2o might be the cause of most circumstances ( or wind - maybe )
So this is a test I wanted to do ..
First a 5 second emersion in water ....
The SIG lighter had a lot of water to burn away , but once the water on the surface of the Jiffy was gone - it burned nice !

Next was a 10 second emersion in water , but this time I used a tissue to dab away the water ..
And the Jiffy lit up right away with the bulk of the H2o removed VIA tissue .

Interesting results .. So these fire lighters are water resistant ..
