homemade fighting club

this is a homemade club. made it with just the golok rasp and file and sandpaper.

its an edged type.. wood is a beam of some unknown tropical hardwood. its in the style of clubs used in the Polynesian part of the pacific especially samoa.

Nice club,ive always felt more damage could be done with a shorter stick/ club,than with a longer stick due to control.

no it really depends on what your doing with it and how it is used. there is edged clubs and weighted clubs. both single handed and double handed. edged clubs allow parrying and thrusts. weighted clubs are just for striking but allow throwing.
a guy with a short club vs a guy with a long one.. = dead guy with short club.. unless he throws it and hits the other.
