I also find it very frustrating and I'm sure there are more people with the same opinion thanks to Moondog for bringing this up.

All of my posts auto correct words and/or make suggestions that are Australian English (I use Safari on Mac & Firefox on PC)

I don't think the spell checker your referring to is powered by the forum. I'd say it's either your internet browser or computer region and language settings that are wrong.

You could be right there I use google chrome and now you mention it it's probably the cause

Mine's fine too - if you're using firefox you have to install the Australian language pack for it and set it to default.

Could not get Aust language add-on to work with firefox V14 or V15 (latest). Says its not available for the version. So do not update your FF if you want your Aust Dictionary for now.
