I figured I should say hello again.
Actually, I can’t recall if I posted when I originally joined.
I used to enjoy a bit of BC in the UK before moving here, and with the pandemic situation, I figured it was way past time to learn more about bush tucker, etc.

So here I am. Again. Hi all.

Like the saying , give a man a fish and he will eat for a day , teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime, it's always good to see someone with a plan and being pro active.

I'm in Queensland too in the north.

Tim Lowe: wild food plants of Australia , is a fantastic book to start with if you haven't already got it.

It's good to have a few sources to check plants from to be safe . 27098

Also I'd recommend Les hiddens , the bush Tucker man.

His bush Tucker field guide is difficult to find these days , however he has transferred his stuff to an online site.

You can probably find it in the search function on this site too.

That's a start, and the journey never ends.
Lots of stuff and knowledgeable people pIMG_20200324_123050.jpgast and present on this site too.

Welcome aboard, nice to have you here / back.
.... "I used to enjoy a bit of BC in the UK before moving here, and with the pandemic situation," ... good to know we're not as bad as the pandemic ! ;)
But if you listen to the WA crew, you may change your mind !:censored:
