These perks apply to users based on the following criteria:

Veteran
After 1000 Posts you will be assigned a veteran of the site will be able to set a custom user title

Before 1000 posts your title will change incrementally through a series of various bushcraft related personalities. I encourage you to google them and learn a bit about them as you go. The lower ranks are a bit of fun but researching the names should provide a good amount of additional learning material

Traders
In order to create a new thread in the trading post, bulk buys or swap ya section the following rules apply:
  1. Must have been a member for more than 30 days
  2. Must have 100 or more posts on the forum.

I am wondering about the little title under the names.... what is the order?

So far we have....

OK so why am I not happy having my name associated with the bear, so I guess I'll just have to type harder and faster.
If we had Australian Bushcraft heroes ( and I like Les Hiddins; he was in Vietnam with my uncle MikeH ) Who gets the top title. I vote for gentleman Harry Power the famous bushranger

Moondog, this is an excellent point! I never heard of Harry Power or why he was a good bushcrafter. This is an Aussie site, why don't we discuss these unsung Aussie bushcraft legends and what they did. I started a new thread HERE lets get the definitive list of Aussie bushcrafters together, its about time we recognized our own!

Harry Power used to frequent the place now known as "Powers Lookout " Ha Ha? above and overlooking the King Valley, in Victoria; he robbed the gold coaches frequently but apparently he was good at hiding his tracks and the smoke from his fire and stayed uncaught for a reasonable length of time

1000 post is a significant milestone for posting on any forum, I have done it twice on two current forums(cold steel knife forum just over 2000 and Urban bunker just over 1600) I will work to break the 1000 here as well.
