I have to say that the steak Sanger at MWH was very tasty....but you needed the jaws of a velociraptor or great white to get through the meat. It was tough as.
We had expert input into the cut being wrong for the sandwich.
And she killed it twice rather than the suggested 'rare'. Not even a hint of pink/red meat even at the very centre.
Over well done if there is such a thing!

Did we already confirm when we are doing this walk in the JFNP?
Seem to recall 2 dates/Sunday's being proposed.....

+++

Also, I believe there are a couple of decent 'extended' walks over at Yanchep NP so if somebody fancies giving that a go one weekend I'd certainly be up for it.

There is also supposed to be a free camping spot (if you are brave enough - LOL) when you reach the 'Ghost House' on the aptly named Ghost House Trail Walk. So maybe an overnighter...if you are brave enough!

I suggest Thrud and MDU with their snake bite kits are required for this one as last time I was having a wander round there I came within 6 inches of standing on a tiger snake who was too busy enjoying an unusually warm and sunny very early spring day to bother slithering away when it heard (or felt) me clomping down the trail.

Mate, I could sell ice to the people formerly known as Eskimos! So you up for it then? Surely you can't believe in ghosts when you don't believe in Yowies?

The snakes are very real! They even have a little island next to the lake marked as a tiger snake reserve!

Sounds like a plan. 6:30 start (for those of us that have an hour drive to get there!)...

Thanks Redtail. Nice little app thingy.
Anyway, whatever time we decide to meet MDU will be the obligatory 15mins late!

Unless we meet at his place, as he suggested.
Then we can drag him from under his doona, and march him out in his jarmies. :non sono stato io:

Guys,
I'm doing the 12.5km Ghost House (Loop) Trail Walk at Yanchep this Sunday AM (24th). Heading off at about 6:30am from the main car park.
Described as one of WA's 'top trails'.
Followed by a pint and bite to eat at Yanchep Inn on completion.
If anybody wants to keep me Company you'd be very welcome.

No worries Mate. Family and Work always has to come first...!
I'll post some pics and a brief write-up once I'm done and back home.
