I headed off cross country and found an interesting assortment of things.

First I hit an old fence line, just a couple of posts:

Here's a couple of spot where deer have been lying. They have cleared 2 areas on a steep slope. The beds have probably been used repeatedly for some time:

I think I was more surprised than this wallaby, but he kept on grazing as I went by:

I found another fence line further on ...

... ans was a bit surprised to see rubbish. I went over to pick it up ....

... and was surprised to see it was quite an old bottle:

I know it was old, but not too old. First the markings are not common on modern bottles.
The mouth is not threaded, or designed for a crown cap. Its only really suitable for a cork, or perhaps a swing top
You can see the bottle has a seam from the mold it was cast in - this is a sign it can't be too old because really old bottles are blown and don't have seams ...

Back home I did a quick google:
The Traders' Bottle Co. Ltd
The Traders Bottle Co. Ltd was formed in 1910 by Victorian wine, spirit, soft-drink and food companies to handle their bottle supply.
The Traders Bottle Washing Co. Pty. Ltd. was similarly established by subscription in 1958. Both went into liquidation in 1974

On my way back ...
