Common Name: Common Sandpiper

Order: Charadriiformes

Family: Scolopacidae

Other Names: N/A

Distribution: Summer migrant found throughout Australia.

Habitat: Forages on the ground and shallow water.

Field Notes: Greyish brown upperparts, white underparts, short dark yellowish legs & feet, and a bill with a pale base and dark tip.
