Cape Petrel

Family: Procellariidae

Other Names:
Cape Pigeon, Pintado Petrel

Distribution: Pelagic.

Habitat: Ocean.

Field Notes: Length: 39 cm Wingspan: 86 cm - black head, black neck, white belly and breast, white underwing with a black border, back and upper-wings are black and speckled white, speckled tail with black band.​

Photos taken on a Pelagic boat trips departing from St Helens and Eaglehawk Neck on the East Coast of Tasmania.
