This could be appropriate - it is from a facebook page, but not really a meme. And probably a realistic modern day survival skill. Cans and plastic are going to be around everywhere for a long time. Might as well learn to use them :)

Not really bushcraft related...It kind of reminds me of the coast North of Cape Tribulation in the 70's. Walking along the coast at low tide, then follow any of the rivers inland. You'd come across a sort of hippy commune, like a village. This is salty crocodile country. These people would make an income growing weed. A lot of them were there because a common theory at that time was that it was one of the safest places to be in the event of a nuclear war. Tasmania was another location, according to that theory. This was in the days of the cold war. There were a lot of Germans here; at the time they were caught between a rock and a hard place via the Berlin wall and US airforce bases scattered throughout West Germany, and Russian bases scattered around East Germany.

Anyway, Joh got the army in to get rid of those river villages.
