Common Name: Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike

Scientific Name: Coracina NovaehollandiaFamily: Campephagidae

Order: Passeriformes

Other Names: NA

Distribution: Widespread and common throughout Australia.

Habitat: Found in almost any wooded habitat, with the exception of rainforests. Also seen in the suburbs.

Field Notes: Has black face and throat, blue-grey back, wings and tail, and white underparts. Young birds resemble the adults, except the black facial mask is reduced to an eye stripe.
