Invertebrate Big preying mantis

Came across this today , it has four legs in the center , and the two mantis looking claws at the front with the little hook claws.
Like a giant preying mantis.

It was easily twice as long as my hand without exaggerating .

I found myself thinking in awe wow if I needed a feed in the bush I could eat you and a few would make a meal , almost like land prawns .

I'm sure in another country like Laos or Cambodia perhaps there would not be the argument I experienced internally about how could I/they eat something so impressive :)

I'm thinking stick insect now instead , although the similar small head was what also threw me off , its still on the same patch of tall grass today.
Windy so tricky taking pics.

Still learning the pic attaching , hence why the duplicates .......

Cool thanks pap. Its probably up near that 25 cm length for the body before the legs extended out in front , yeah amazing .

It's definately not a praying mantis.

It looks like a Titan Stick instect.
