I have been so busy the last 18 months , I keep walking past my last Beach Grass basket i made
and think i have to get back into this  I am so time poor at the moment, and weaving IS satisfying but time consuming.

... wish there were MORE hours in the day

You know, a long time ago, they used to prescribe basket weaving for folk who were a bit insane. Just sayin... Beautiful work though.

Apparently, that is from WW1? Soldiers dismembered and mangled so badly that they (all their parts) had to be carried out in a basket :(

Wow, that is awesome, good work mozzie, how did you learn to weave like that?
Do you know of any good books or references out there for a bloke wanting to learn?
