Scientific name: Acrocephalus australis

Common Name: Australian Reed Warbler

Order: Passeriformes

Family: acrocephalidae

Other Names: N/A

Distribution: Most of australia except arid regions in WA, SA and SW NT.

Habitat: It lives in reedbeds across Australia.

Field Notes: It is about 16 centimetres long, and brown and buff in colour. Similar to Great Reed Warbler (not present at this location).Nest made from reed sheaths and grass. Deep cup. Loud melodius whistle.
