Field Notes:
Head bright yellow, thorax and abdomen metallic green or bronze with slivery white spots. Wings clear with dark bases. Known to lay eggs on snails and the maggots are parasitic. Nectar feeder, assist flower plant pollination. Size - 10-15 mm
