we have a pair that have been living in our back yard going on three years, we call them the chooks, as soon as i walk into the back yard they fly down to see if im throwing out the older seed from my pet Cockatiels, its a regular thing now and they have become very used to me.
Lost count of the many chicks they have raised and fledged, i have also lost count of the chicks that fell from their crappy nest also

We Love ours...They have Nested here for the last 2 years...On colder days they fluff up and hunch together which is Beautiful to watch...Sounds like You have a lot of Happy with a drop of Sad or in bird terms-Welcome to the real world...Cheers.
