I spent the weekend at an industrial estate in Melbourne's West and enjoyed watching the comings and goings of the local rabbits.

They were quite brazen, sunning themselves in the sun, off and on all morning:

They were running in and out of a lovely, round hole in a section of grass - I assume there was a burrow in that clump (I wasn't able to go out and look more closely):

As an academic exercise, a colleague and I were speculating about how best to catch them.

A trap at the hole entrance, or perhaps a slingshot ? What do you think ?

Good time to practice your skills,be it rock, club, boomerang, bow, sling, trap, firearm, net, hand,or some other far fetched technique.i myself prefer a snare, but whichever you choose, learn from it.
