This is a place where I often go for a day walk. Previously I'd picked up a few flat stones so I had a flay surface to put my stove on, but a wombat visitor kept visiting and leaving a deposit on it !

Having been hit again a wombat delivery, I decided to build a small bench to set up on:

I started with bacon of course. I added some water to soak it a little (to reduce the saltiness: http://bushcraftoz.com/forums/showthread.php?9534-Dry-cured-bacon )

Yum love bacon. And great little table there Aussie. Is that just basic untarred line?
