    Product recall: Gas stoves.

I might have one of these. I'll check tomorrow.

I have one of those "suitcase" single burner disposable cylinder stoves which was purchased in a moment of haste when my normal gas bottle stove failed. A day ago while putting the suitcase stove into the car prior to a long trip smelt leaking gas.
Even though the lever was latched up as it should to disengage the cylinder somehow the nozzle bumped and let some gas escape. That was the end of that stove for me a death trap as far as I am concerned.
Using a Optimus kerosene pressure stove for this trip when in caravan parks etc where I can't light fires.

    Far less volatile and safer.

We had an interesting camping trip a couple of years ago with one of the suitcase style stoves. It was flaming out of the side.

Yes, there was a recall a few years ago.
