    Creeping hibiscus ( abelmoschus moschcatus)

    IMG-20171212-WA0006.jpg

Low ground creeping sometimes small branching shrub.

Flowers up to 13 cm across.

Small edible tuber " bush carrot".

Also young leaves edible and young shoots.

There's some distinction between young leaves however as I experienced ,
I tried to eat a not so young leaf , which left small hairs embedded in my lips, which was a bit weird for a while trying to pull them out .

Range of growth, top end qld., n.t. some w.a.
