    Sorry to hear that Chris.
    We've used our oven in the past, set to the lowest heat and wedged the door open with a wooden spoon. It works well

    Hi Thrud

    The brand is "5 Star Chef" (5 tray model). Up to the point the heating element died, it was apparently working well - so maybe I just got a dud. The reviews are reasonable for this model.

    Hi Wentworth

    Yes, I used a wooden spoon to keep mine slightly open to allow air moisture to escape. Works very well.
