Awesome, thanks mate. There's three of us working together, definitely wouldn't call it 'mine'.

This is the Field Raven from Black Crow Knife Co. Disclaimer; I'm a co-owner in the brand so probably biased but this thing is just plain nice to use and bloody tough.
Definitely a functional looking blade, i like the handle design, cover all bases that one. Wish i could get one but alas funds are tight, all the best with it hope it sells well!

Looks like a practical knife, is there anyone in WA that has one? Would love to handle one before I consider buying one.

They’ve not available until end of February from memory as they’re currently working on the preorders

Hey MDU, OD is right. Preorder is currently open & they should ship out by end of Feb. We’re going to try line up retailers when they arrive but even so if you order & don’t like it send it back in new condition & you’ll be refunded. The few people who have handled it outside of our group have been very impressed though.

We went with D2 at HRC58 for the better corrosion resistance & edge retention but easier field sharpening than usual with D2.

    Here to help Thrud!

Just took possession of a Real Steel Buschcraft Folder.
    $90 delivered.
Made in China. D2 Steel, do not know hardness.
Came in box with case and cleaning cloth.
Solid knife. No play in the blade.
Handle G10 with a fine cross hatching
    Lanyard holeIMG_5311.jpg
    Scandi grind.
    Very sharp
    Aggressive Gimping.
    Thumb studs both sides

Haven't used it in anger yet, but sits nicely in my size 8 hands

Comparison with Victorinox Hunter folder, Can of Warhog and for those of you who don't drink a can of pop
