Turned on the new 5000 gallon water tank for the first time, it is two thirds full. This feeds the outside laundry. We started up the new generator to run it in whilst we used the washing machine, we had enough power anyway, but it had to be done sooner or later.

Well, I will be: Planting more pumpkins, fertilizing the gardens, changing the engine oil in the generator, Working on the steering on the ride on lawn mower because it has seized up, checking the washing machine filters, & picking fresh vegies & getting dinner.

Went kayak fishing with an old bushwalking mate at a 'secret' location. The inaugural trip in my not so new kayak. No bites, but who cares when days are as good as this!

I pulled out the pick-up from Cattail Pond for our fire pump & fitted a new float. The pump was running rough so we loaded it into one of the 4WDs to take to town tomorrow & get it serviced.

Went wandering through the bush up a creek to check on the ripening of a small but loaded with low fruit mango tree I found , to see when they're close enough to ripe to hopefully beat the bats to.
While the dog enjoyed the small pools of water the recent rains have brought to cool down.

Thursday I went into the city to renew my firearms licence, whilst I was there & bought an electric water pump to run off our solar power to pump water from our catchment tank to the upper tank that feeds the house.
Friday I put in a new garden gate on the south fence so we can bring the tractor in there.
